Interested in joining one of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated sales teams in the industry? I’m seeking a Quotations / Inside Salesperson to join the Power Distribution / Switchgear team at a leading Distributor serving Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia since 1892.

You will review drawings and RFQ’s from contractors and partner with the manufacturers to build the proposal and create the BOM. Estimates could be due that day, or larger jobs may take several days. You will be responsible for all aspects from the quotation to billing reconciliation. You must be able to read / interpret technical documents while maintaining customer satisfaction by assisting with identifying equipment, supporting system applications, and providing quotes / processing orders. Proficient computer skills with the ability to utilize multiple 3rd party product configurators is also a must.

You will work on projects from $30K to $1.2M. While you’ll also generate smaller quotes, the focus is project business, writing quotes in the 7-figure range. A lot of the heavy lifting is done on the manufacturer’s end, and you are spot checking that proposal. Expect 7, 7-figure quotes per month.

This role is a result of succession planning. The organization is experiencing tremendous growth.
