The organization employs about 3,000 people across 13 countries and is offering solutions to world leading industrial companies in a range of market segments including Renewable Energy, Automation, Medical, Rail, eMobility, Motor Drives and Ship & Offshore and Audio.
We are seeking a Procurement Manager for North America.
This is a new position in which you will lead and manage the North America Purchasing Managers day-to-day activities, including responsibilities for core suppliers/categories. Establish strategic agreements and adopt group procurement processes and procedures. Manage current and potential supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Selection, evaluation, and replacement of suppliers in North America
- Supplier quality, and on-time-delivery performance (and other supplier metrics)
- Purchase Price Index improvements
- Inventory/DPO levels across North America
- Deliver yearly cost down projects in accordance with the budget
If you have experience as a Purchasing / Procurement Manager (or similar role) with a deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management in the electrical industry and in a manufacturing environment, let’s talk!
I’m seeking a candidate with a proven background in strategic negotiation at a high level (multimillion dollar contracts) with the ability to see the full picture in reviewing contracts. In addition, proven success with inventory control is a must. Salary is $90 – $110k and the role may be based in Indiana or may be remote (based in the Eastern half of the US) for the right fit.
