We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Agent.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Functioning as a key liaison between the Procurement team and internal stakeholders including the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing.
• Working closely with the core Program/Project teams to manage high visibility and high value programs, applying program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of the company’s portfolio of projects.

If you have electrical power industry experience, experience souring and full cycle procurement (or some significant part of the full cycle) and proven negotiation, business skills, analytical abilities – we need to talk!

You will achieve success through your sourcing prowess, effective, meaningful involvement in early procurement planning during the bid and early stages (you will lead a plan with the project team), measuring savings (budget to actual), mitigating risk, and beating the project BOM budget and through full cycle buying: Sourcing, qualifying, RFP/Q, selection, ordering, and receiving.

This role is based in VA and relocation will be provided for the right candidate.

Salary is $140 – $180k and may be adjusted for the right candidate. The Senior Purchasing Agent has a path to grow into a Director / VP role. This is a flat organization with three divisions.
