Pati has a position as a Purchasing Manager in Parsippany, NJ for a global wire and cable company. This company has global suppliers and US based vendors. This person will be responsible for purchasing materials, goods, and services for the manufacturer. NOT REMOTE.

Skills:

Day-to-day DUTIES:

• Data entry for purchase orders, ensure that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
• Manage inventory, including current stock and new deliveries,
• Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders, included all related instruction,
• Work with warehouse for logistics in shipping
• Must have strong Excel experience.
• Converting from Metrics to US unit measurements required

RESPONSABILITIES and ROLE:

• Search for and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manufacturers, internationally.
• Build and maintain long-lasting supplier relationships, evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
• Find new suppliers,
• Work with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts, as well as other available discounts,
• Present purchasing report to management,
• Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders,
• Solve supply chain problems.
• Must have Bachelor’s degree

The salary range is from $65-95,000 base. Great Benefits with dependents and individual full paid by the company.
