We are seeking a Commodities Specialist/Inside Sales professional to step into a pivotal role due to a retirement. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have experience in the electrical industry, and are passionate about building strong relationships, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Expertise: Develop a strong knowledge base of electrical commodities, including wire and cable.
  • Sales Operations: Handle pricing, stock checks, order entry, product selection, and technical support for commodity solutions.
  • Customer Support: Resolve product or shipping issues by identifying problems, processing RMA/quality documents, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Team Collaboration: Support the outside sales team by providing literature, samples, pricing, and updates on any concerns with distributors.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and end users.
  • Quoting & CRM Management: Follow up on quotes, manage progress in RepFabric CRM, and keep information up to date and relevant.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor daily commodity pricing trends and assist in making informed pricing decisions.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly updates and follow-up on quote progress to the outside sales team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in the electrical industry or with electrical commodities (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and resolve issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like RepFabric (a plus).
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for building relationships.
