Project Engineer Focused on Sustainability and High Performance Lighting

As Project Engineer you will be an integral team player working on turnkey projects from concept to completed engineering solutions. You will work to deliver high quality, efficient indoor and outdoor LED lighting for our clients in retail, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, schools & colleges, offices, agriculture and more.

How will you do it?!

By using AGi32 for photometric design and modelling of complete lighting solutions.

• Working on engineered proposals and energy analysis, then specifying parts and managing the whole process, including labor and shipping quotations, in constant contact with internal departments.
• Gathering spec sheets and information for current and future projects
• Developing engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools to provide drawings for all permitting and construction use
• Assisting project management, engineering, and other internal departments with technical projects as required.
• Researching and training on the Company’s products/fixtures.
• Ensuring goals and objectives of each project are accomplished following agreed company processes, timeframes, quality levels, and cost.

Who are you? Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent education and/or experience

• Minimum of Two (2) years electrical and/or lighting engineering experience in a similar role
• AutoCAD or similar drafting program knowledge is required
• AGi32 or similar photometric analysis software preferred
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• High attention to detail and strong written communication in a business environment
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Effective multi-tasker

In return you will have:

• A base salary of $55-75,000
• Hybrid work environment – 3 office days, 2 remote
• Health, Dental & Vision are heavily subsidized.
