I am representing a national and global systems integrator that provides IT services and solutions for commercial and federal clients. The organization has keen insight into trends and emerging technologies that are changing the way we work, communicate, and protect our society. The company offers design, installation, support and project management for Distributed Antenna Systems, Passive Optical Networking, voice/data, wireless systems, security, audio visual, and video teleconferencing delivering powerful IP centric, integrated solutions that get results.

We are seeking a Sales Leader to Support the VP of Corporate sales in the hiring, training, support, and oversight of the sales team, consisting of approximately 6 internal sales reps.

You will oversee the organization’s critical infrastructure and commercial business – serving world-class customers like Oracle, AWS, and Microsoft to name just a few.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train, and coach, and monitor their performance
  • Strengthen the sales process to improve selling productivity and revenue predictability. Enable the organization and the sales force to operate with a long-term view, while managing short-term priorities.
  • Manage sales reps to grow the pipeline for the short term and medium term. This includes improving pipeline size and quality while enhancing the ability of the sales team to generate revenue from the entire portfolio.
  • Drive competitive takeaways from the competition.
  • Develop a hunting mentality in the sales organization, in addition to the ability to manage long-term relationships with large strategic customers.
  • Help the SVP of corporate sales develop and maintain monthly sales forecasts
  • Review sales pipeline with sales reps and ensure CRM reports are accurate
  • Scheduling, coordination, and participation in sales meetings and training sessions. Identify knowledge gaps within the team and action plans
  • Promote and support channel partner relationships and strategies (manufacturers & distributors)
  • Help sales reps create and develop win strategies for customers and customer engagements in Commercial and Critical Infrastructure verticals.

The candidate should be in the Mid-Atlantic region and have proven experience in leading and upskilling a sales organization.
