Generator Applications Specialist

I am representing a market leading manufacturer and fabricator of engineered material solutions for power generation equipment, including steam, hydro, and wind generators. The insulation components are specific to their application and location within the generator. Standard generator components are Rotor Field, Stators, Exciters, and Accessories and Auxiliary Components.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service / Inside Sales Specialist / Project Manager that will act as a Generator Applications Specialist.

You will be the face of the company to your customers and manage the Order Fulfillment Process from Request for Quote all the way through shipment of products to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer’s requirements.

The customer service role will handle the order fulfilment process from quoting through delivery. Support the customer with technical and complex service questions. Typical customer questions are focused on account status, quote requests, order status, technical product application, service information, pricing, and lead time. Works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Management team resources to resolve any service, warranty, or technical problems.

Work assignments require deep discipline-specific knowledge and/or experience with electric motors. Work activities involve regular communication with individuals both internal and external to the company. With limited oversight, this individual will document and administer processes and lead interdisciplinary teams in process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience with a high-volume job shop – in a machining and manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to take a process from concept to implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary project/process improvement projects.
