If you’re a technical Project Manager who aspires to be a team leader and who enjoys going onsite to manage your projects thoroughly this is a great opportunity for you. You’ll have a strong understanding of controls, doing work ups and drawings. Projects range from a couple hundred thousand to $2M+ and you’re managing 12 – 15 projects at any given time. You’ll focus on extending services to the project to add value. This isn’t just a paperwork position, you’ll be in the field, attending preconstruction meetings, controls meetings, reviewing blink codes, reviewing materials at delivery and making sure they match the materials, educating contractors during installation, conducting additional job checks, etc. You need to be good at conflict resolution, understanding drawings and making sure they are accurate and fit the project and timelines.

This company is heavily involved with spec grade, architectural lighting and lighting controls; they were an early adopter of controls and DMX. They have a strong customer base and market share. Their projects include commercial, K-12, higher education, hospitals, etc. This company is well funded and continually invests back into the company. They are very customer centric.
