I’m working with a well-respected and rapidly growing Lighting Rep based in Virginia looking for a Specification Outside Sales Representative to call on owners, specifiers, designers, distributors, contractors, and end users. This Sales Rep will be involved in all aspects of the lighting design and sales process, reporting directly to the company Principal with the opportunity for expanded responsibility in an established and growing company. The compensation is a true base salary of $90k+ with commissions.

We are looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of electrical/ lighting spec sales experience.
• A career focus and determination to thrive in the commercial lighting industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a team player attitude.
• Previous experience working with commercial lighting controls.
• Known as a top sales producer and team builder.
• Strong distribution and contractor relationships in the VA market.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft, OASIS, & cloud-based systems.
