Branch Manager – Power Distribution Products – TX

If you’re the type of leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats, making decisions, developing people, and taking ownership of an entire business operation, this is an opportunity where your impact will be seen every single day.

This is far more than a branch management position. It is an opportunity to run a business within a business. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of a growing Fort Worth location while balancing sales, operations, customer relationships, financial performance, inventory management, production, and team leadership. Every decision you make influences the success of the branch, the experience of your customers, and the continued growth of the organization.

For more than 25 years, this organization has earned an outstanding reputation as one of North America’s premier providers of electrical power distribution solutions. They help customers maximize the life of critical electrical infrastructure while minimizing downtime, reducing capital expenditures, and keeping facilities operating safely and reliably. Their business is built around solving problems, particularly the difficult ones that others cannot.

Their capabilities extend well beyond supplying electrical products. They provide new, remanufactured, surplus, and obsolete power distribution equipment along with complete engineering and technical solutions. Their product offering includes low and medium voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, switchboards, motor controls, transformers, panelboards, bus plugs, replacement components, and custom electrical assemblies. They also offer field services, preventive maintenance, equipment modernization, testing, repair, emergency support, and a rapidly growing custom panel manufacturing operation.

Customers include electrical contractors, general contractors, industrial manufacturers, utilities, municipalities, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, OEMs, data centers, and other mission critical operations where electrical reliability is nonnegotiable. Their reputation has been built on technical expertise, exceptional customer service, one of the industry’s most comprehensive inventories, and the ability to respond quickly when customers need solutions the most.

Continued investment in engineering, manufacturing, inventory, and people has fueled impressive growth across the business. Despite operating nationally, the company has maintained an entrepreneurial culture where local leaders are empowered to make decisions, build customer relationships, support their communities, and truly own the success of their operation.

As Branch Manager, you will have complete responsibility for the Fort Worth branch. You’ll oversee a team of five employees spanning inside sales, warehouse operations, and an expanding panel manufacturing business. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who enjoys being involved in every aspect of running a successful operation. One moment you may be reviewing financial reports or approving purchases. The next you may be walking the warehouse, checking production schedules, meeting with customers, coaching an employee, or helping solve an operational challenge.

You’ll own the branch’s financial performance and be accountable for its profit and loss. Success requires someone who understands that operational excellence and financial discipline go hand in hand. You’ll oversee purchasing for the branch, monitor expenses, review receivables, ensure accounting documentation is accurate, and verify that every transaction is properly reflected within the ERP system before each monthly close. Attention to detail is critical because accuracy drives sound business decisions.

Operational leadership extends throughout the entire facility. You’ll oversee inventory management, coordinate transfers with other branch locations, maintain efficient product flow from receiving through shipment, support the continued growth of the panel shop, ensure safety compliance, and maintain an organized operation that delivers an outstanding customer experience. You’ll collaborate with other branches across the organization to ensure inventory, products, and resources are positioned where customers need them most.

People leadership is equally important. You’ll directly supervise both salaried and hourly employees while creating an environment built around accountability, communication, development, and mutual respect. Daily coaching, performance management, employee development, hiring, corrective action, performance reviews, and building a strong culture all fall under your leadership. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions while ensuring your team has the support, direction, and resources needed to succeed.

This role extends well beyond the four walls of the branch. You’ll serve as the face of the business throughout the Fort Worth market, building relationships with electrical contractors, general contractors, commercial customers, vendors, and industry partners. You’ll become actively involved within the local business community, participate in industry events, strengthen existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities for growth, and help drive additional revenue throughout the branch. You’ll also have the authority to make pricing decisions that balance profitability with long term customer partnerships.

The ideal candidate is both an operator and a leader. You understand how sales, warehouse operations, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, accounting, and customer service all work together to create a successful business. You enjoy solving problems, making decisions, holding people accountable, and creating an environment where employees are motivated to perform at a high level. Most importantly, you take pride in treating the business as if it were your own.

Experience leading branch operations, distribution, manufacturing, warehouse operations, industrial sales, or electrical products is highly desired. Previous responsibility for profit and loss management, employee leadership, customer development, purchasing, and operational execution will position you well for success. Experience within electrical distribution, power distribution equipment, switchgear, switchboards, circuit breakers, motor controls, panelboards, transformers, or related industrial electrical products is especially valuable.

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a growing operation with significant autonomy while helping shape the future of an already successful branch. You’ll join an organization that continues to invest in its people, expand its capabilities, and strengthen its position as a trusted leader within the electrical industry. If you enjoy leading from the front, building teams, serving customers, and driving business performance, you’ll find both challenge and long-term opportunity in this role.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary along with a commission program that rewards the continued growth and success of the branch.
