I am working with a growing entrepreneurial manufacturer in the South Bend IN area who is looking for a Materials Manager. As the Materials Manager, you will be responsible for production planning, production scheduling, material coordination and shipping activities allowing for the successful on time delivery of our products.

This involves inventory management, data management, production scheduling and transportation. We need a person who LOVES working with people and can be strong leader and manager.

Salary range – $100-150,000 based on experience.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as data analytics, business, finance, engineering, or operations management is required.

5+ years proven experience in offensive production coordination, production control, preferably with prior supervisory or management experience. Must LOVE manufacturing and have a competitive winning spirit.

High proficiency utilizing computer software: Excel, production control software and systems, including ERP systems and inventory management tools.

Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and relevant regulations is preferred.
