Quality Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Florida | Salary: $130,000 + 10% Bonus

Egret Consulting is partnering with a specialty electrical manufacturer trying to find a Quality Manager who can make a real impact on both customer relationships and internal operations.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of quality with customers while developing a strong, sustainable quality culture throughout the organization.

Customer Quality & Relationships

• Serve as a key point of contact for customers on quality concerns, audits, and corrective actions.
• Build customer confidence through strong communication, responsiveness, and problem-solving.
• Lead root cause investigations, 8D corrective actions, and customer quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure quality expectations are consistently met.

Internal Quality Leadership & Culture

• Lead and strengthen the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Develop, coach, and mentor QC Inspectors and the Quality Management Systems Specialist.
• Build a culture where quality, accountability, and continuous improvement are everyone’s responsibility.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, Kaizen events, and process improvements to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing defects.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve manufacturing performance and product reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of quality, manufacturing, engineering, or continuous improvement experience.
• Strong ISO 9001 expertise, including quality audits, corrective actions, and Quality Management Systems.
• Proven experience interacting directly with customers and resolving complex quality issues.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered.
