Are you looking for a Lighting Estimator opportunity on Long Island and the opportunity to work on high end projects? I’m working with a lighting distributor that is hiring a technical Sr. Estimator. You’ll work on take offs, RFI’s, quote requests, putting quotes together, reviewing what the vendors send back, set margins, inform Project Managers what needs to be ordered, ensure fixtures are ready to ship, etc. You must have:

• Strong technical lighting knowledge
• Experience working on multi-million-dollar projects
• Experience quoting complicated office buildouts, 60 story hotels, etc.
• Ability to convey a sense of urgency to the vendors to get pricing back in a timely manner.

This distributor has a strong reputation, high integrity and really appreciates Lighting Designers and their design intent. The ideal salary is around $80K – $90K.
